Liquid Crystal Display or more popularly known as LCD TV has anti-glare technology. As a result its brightness rage is wider than other TVs. Furthermore, unlike other televisions LCD TVs does not emit light. Thus, it does not reflect light making it more enjoyable to watch. There are easier to install. They are durable. LED TVS are more efficient have better picture quality than an LCD. It will last longer and is more reliable than plasma or an LCD TV. It also does not require mercury like its LCD counterpart to start up the images. However, it is quite expensive compared to a LCD TV. Furthermore, it is difficult to mount it on the wall and still achieve a dimensional feel to it.

Due to plasma technology, the picture quality and resolution is superior to most alternative TVs. One other big advantage is the size in which is offered. They hardly come in sizes smaller than 42inches. This is ideal for home movie systems or watching live sports games. However, they are quite pricey compared to other televisions and due to its size it limits you on where to place it

Other elements that should also be considered when deciding which TV to buy include; the frequent use of the TV that you would like to purchase. The purpose of buying the TV i.e. if you are watching high paced action movies then a LCD will not be appropriate for you.

Another, element when making a decision on which TV to buy is deciding where you will place it. This is where the TV will be situated for example as earlier stated LED TVs do not have a good dimensional view. This means you can only watch it to a certain angle. While an LCD has a wider dimensional view, which will give you a wider viewing angle. To enhance these three types of TVs opt for HD or 3D or HD and 3D versions for more entertainment, enjoyment and not to mention higher quality pictures.
